Steven De Schrijver is a partner at Agio Legal and specialises in mergers and acquisitions, corporate law, IT and media, data protection and privacy, and outsourcing. He has more or less 30 years of experience advising Belgian and international companies on mergers and acquisitions and has advised on numerous national and international transactions in, among others, the technology, IT, media, telecommunications and life sciences sectors.

His clients include some of the largest Belgian and foreign technology companies and companies in the innovative economy. Steven advises them on complex commercial contracts and projects in the field of new technologies, almost always with a cross-border element.

Steven is known by his clients for being 100% committed to achieving his clients’ desired goals. He is proactive, responsive, highly accessible and pragmatic. Steven has an extensive network of foreign lawyers with whom he works closely on inbound and outbound international transactions and projects.

Training
Steven De Schrijver received his JD (magna cum laude) from the University of Antwerp (Belgium) in 1992 and an LLM from the University of Virginia School of Law in 1993 and from the University of Antwerp in 1995. He is a member of the Brussels Bar.
